Looking past the stereotypes: what men really notice when they first meet a woman

The popular belief that men first notice a woman's bust when they first meet her has turned out to be nothing more than a stereotype. According to a new study, out of 1,000 men, about 700 of them notice the eyes first, with a smile coming in second. This study debunks the common belief that men immediately fix their gaze on a woman's breasts. However, the bust still ranks third on this list.

A similar study conducted among women revealed that both sexes first evaluate eyes and smile. This is followed by attention to height and hair. Next come the ability to dress, weight, skin condition, face shape, and even buttocks. In the last place for women was a man's nose.

Men, assessing the eyes, smile and chest, also pay attention to hair and weight. After that, the look goes to the legs, and then to the ability to dress. The buttocks are ranked eighth by men, and ninth - height, and the last on the list is the condition of a woman's skin.

A spokesperson for Murine eye drops, the company that commissioned the study, emphasized: "Eyes tend to tell us a lot about a person, so it's not surprising that they are the ones that catch our attention first."

Another study indicates that even men who are satisfied with their permanent relationships do not stop showing interest in the opposite sex and at least three times experience falling in love in relationships with other women.
