Having children is not only a joy, but, as scientists from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, USA, have found out, it is also an important factor for women's health, especially in adulthood. According to their study of nearly two thousand women aged 20 to 44, having a baby in adulthood reduces the likelihood of developing an aggressive form of breast cancer.

Researchers found that those women who had their first child about 15 years after puberty had a 60 percent reduced risk of developing triple negative breast cancer. This is an important finding that suggests that late motherhood can have a positive impact on a woman's health.

Interestingly, having a first child late had no effect on the likelihood of developing other forms of breast cancer. Thus, the researchers emphasize that it is delaying the onset of motherhood that may be the key factor in reducing the risk of aggressive breast cancer.

Giving birth at an advanced age, according to the researchers, not only does not harm a woman's health, but, on the contrary, brings certain benefits. This discovery underscores the importance of understanding that giving up motherhood after age 30 is not necessarily associated with poorer health, but may, on the contrary, be a factor in preventing aggressive forms of breast cancer.
