Diathesis, which has proved to be an unwelcome guest in your infant's life, is often food-related. Therefore, it is important that the mother, breastfeeding, pay attention to her diet. Giving up sweets, citrus fruits, cacao, chocolate, nuts and curds can go a long way in managing diathesis in an infant.

From the time the baby reaches the age of 6 months, start introducing complementary foods by replacing one of the breastfeeds with a vegetable puree. Preferably start with mashed cabbage or zucchini and then gradually add other types of vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, turnips, beets and cauliflower. A variety of vegetables will enrich your child's diet and promote a more complete nutrition.

Carefully monitor your child's reaction to the introduction of new foods. It is important to avoid allergenic reactions. The introduction of porridge into the diet is also an important step, preferably choose porridge from rice, buckwheat or oatmeal. If the child does not tolerate milk well, you can use decoction of vegetables or fruits for porridge.

For artificial or mixed feeding, carefully observe which infant formula causes negative reactions. If necessary, consult your doctor to find the best alternative. Avoid sugar and salt, as excessive amounts can trigger allergies.
