Give your closet drawers a pleasant scent by creating your own scented pads and bags. Your clothes will now smell pleasantly of lavender, roses or pine. In addition, such pads will be a wonderful and useful gift.

To make them you will need only a few simple materials: two pieces of fabric measuring approximately 12 by 12 centimeters, lavender balls, rose petals or pine needles, as well as a needle and thread.

First, sew the edges of the fabrics together on the wrong side, leaving one edge open. Then turn the cushion over to the front side and start filling it with your chosen scented filler. Remember not to overfill the cushion so that you can sew it up easily.

Once the cushion is filled, carefully sew the open edge with your hands or sewing machine. Make sure the seam is strong and secure to avoid flyaways.

The finished scented pads can be placed in various places in your closet: in drawers with sweaters, underwear or tights. You can also use them to scent other areas, such as the bathroom or your car.
