  • How to cook tiramisu: the magic of an Italian dessert

    Sweet lovers, let's dive into the world of airy Italian dessert - tiramisu. This exquisite dessert is created on the basis of mascarpone cheese, savoyardi cookies, chicken eggs, aromatic coffee and a little alcohol. Let me share with you a simple recipe that will wow your taste buds.

    ingredient list:

    savoiardi cookies: 240 g
    mascarpone cheese: 500 g
    sugar: 150 g
    egg yolks: 6 pcs.
    coffee: 200 ml
    Marsala wine: 50 ml
    cocoa powder for decoration
    cooking time: 30 min
    number of servings: 4

    Let's start with the coffee. Cook it and let it cool down. Then pour it into a deep bowl, add the Marsala wine (you can use rum or Amaretto liqueur if you prefer).

    Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until puffy and light.

    Add the mascarpone cheese to the egg mixture and mix thoroughly until thick and smooth. Do not use a mixer to avoid the cheese from separating.

    Quickly dip half of the savoiardi into the coffee mixture and place them in a deep rectangular mold, spacing them tightly together.

    Spread half of the mascarpone cream evenly over the coffee-soaked cookies and gently flatten. Dip the remaining cookies in the coffee mixture and lay a dense layer on top of the cream. Sprinkle with the remaining coffee mixture.

    Smooth the remaining cream over the top and cover the dessert with cling film. Place in the refrigerator for a few hours to allow the dessert to soak in.

    Before serving, sprinkle the tiramisu with a thin layer of cocoa powder.
